Hello!

As you know, Bret and I will be entering the scary world of parenthood in January 2008. I thought this blog would be a good way to keep you posted on how we're holding up and what's going on in our world. Mostly I've been feeling nauseous and tired all day everyday. It's been especially difficult because, in addition to working full-time, I've been taking a class three nights a week. Luckily, the class ends next week. Then I can start sleeping all I want. Bret's energy level hasn't been affected, which is great because there's a lot more to do around the house now that I'm sleeping all of the time. Today I had a doctor's appointment and a sonogram appointment. Bret went with me to both. We had a fun time seeing the baby. I've posted the images here for you to see. Of course, if you haven't seen one before, it's kind of hard to make out what everything is. The top image is a full frontal view, and the bottom is a close up from the baby's right side. To help you make things out, I've attached another set of the images with red lines circling the baby.
