First Birthday

Yesterday was Evelyn's birthday, and we had a blast. After opening presents and taking a nap, Evelyn went to eat at Phil's Icehouse. It sounds like a beer joint, but it's not. It's an awesome, kid-friendly, hamburger joint that is going to be our new favorite place. It's attached to an Amy's Ice Cream, but we didn't get ice cream since it was about 38 degrees outside. We had burgers and fries and returned home where Evelyn took a nap and Bret and I made a cake and cookies. When Evelyn woke up, we delivered some cookies to our neighbors.
